Smooth wet hair with airflow
Dyson Airstrait uses Dyson’s latest hair care technology. With the help of a high-pressure airflow, it straightens your hair as it dries, making it easier to style without having to rough-dry first. You can use the straightener in either Wet or Dry mode, so it’s not only ideal for wet hair but also for smoothing and refreshing dry hair.

Intelligent heat control
The straightener monitors the temperature of the airflow up to 30 times per second to help prevent heat damage. This allows you to style your hair without hot plates, relying instead on Dyson’s advanced airflow technology. The focused airflow effectively smooths your hair and works brilliantly on most hair types. Dyson Airstrait also enables quieter, more comfortable styling by detecting hair sections placed between the plates and switching to a lower airflow when there is no hair between them.

Optimised temperatures for wet and dry hair
Both Wet and Dry modes have their own temperature settings to ensure an especially sleek finish. For wet hair there are three preset temperatures: 80, 110 and 140°C. For dry hair there are two settings: 120 and 140°C. The optional Boost mode maximises styling power. You can check the current temperature and airflow settings on the stylish LCD screen. If you don’t use the tool for three seconds, the auto-pause function stops operation and restarts as soon as you move the straightener again.
