With a 24.5 MP FX sensor, in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) and the EXPEED 7 image processor, the Z5II delivers stunning image quality, even in challenging lighting conditions.

The sensor offers up to 7.5 stops of vibration reduction at the centre of the frame and 6.0 stops at the edges, thanks to Nikon’s exclusive Focus-Point VR, which stabilises around the active focus point to keep your shots sharp – even when shooting handheld in low light.

The Z5II’s autofocus system is 68% faster than its predecessor and sensitive down to –10 EV. Combined with intelligent subject detection and advanced 3D tracking, it provides precise, fast focusing – even when the light is fading. A new AF-A mode automatically detects subject movement and switches seamlessly between AF-S and AF-C, so you never miss the decisive moment.

The electronic viewfinder (EVF) offers 3000-nit brightness and 18 brightness levels, making it easy to compose your shots – even in strong sunlight. The Z5II makes it easy to create high-quality video content. Record in 4K/30p for maximum detail or 4K/60p (cropped) for smooth motion. You can capture N-RAW directly to SD cards and work with N-Log for professional colour grading – perfect for cinematic looks and RED LUTs. For audio, there are both 3.5 mm microphone and headphone jacks, so your sound can match the quality of your footage.

Creative Control and Smarter Workflow

With the Picture Control button you get quick access to inspiring colour profiles, which can be used in real time and customised via Nikon NX Studio. And with Nikon Imaging Cloud you can automate image transfers and download unique “recipes” from Nikon and Nikon Creators straight to your camera.
