You can use the Garmin Connect app to create and search for routes, and the watch is also compatible with popular training apps such as Strava and Komoot.

The watch has continuous heart-rate monitoring and can also alert you to abnormal heart rate at rest. With the Body Battery™ function you know when it’s the right time to train and when your body needs rest. For overall wellbeing, the watch tracks sleep quality, stress level and the menstrual cycle, among other metrics.

With Forerunner 255 you can receive notifications from a compatible smartphone (Apple and Android). The watch supports multiple global satellite systems for accurate positioning even in challenging environments.
